Rising Leaders in Biostasis 2026

Scottsdale, Arizona · September 6–8, 2026

A private gathering for the next generation of people who have made biostasis, or cryopreservation, arrangements.

This is not an industry conference or a professional networking event. It is a chance to connect with peers, build real friendships, and spend a focused weekend with others who have also made arrangements and understand the long game, regardless of professional background or prior level of involvement.

Intended for applicants ages 21 to 35 · Limited scholarships available · Both scholarship and self-pay application options available · Optional RAADfest add-on available for those who wish to attend RAADfest 2026, which runs from September 4 to 6 at the same resort where RLB will be hosted. Applicants selecting this option would arrive Friday, September 4, instead of Sunday, September 6. 


A limited number of applicants over age 35 may also be considered, subject to capacity. Applicants over age 35 who plan to attend on a self-pay basis are also encouraged to apply.

Organized by YC26 LLC. Independent of any specific cryonics provider. Attendance is limited and subject to application review.

What to expect:

Sunday Evening, September 6th: Welcome dinner at 6PM and structured icebreaker activities designed to help attendees get properly introduced and begin building real connections.

Monday, September 7th: A full day of shared programming, including group meals, select presentations, guided discussion, and other activities designed to help attendees get to know one another in a meaningful way. Event will run into the late evening after dinner on Monday.

Tuesday, September 8th: No activities planned. Scholarship attendees are required to check-out of scholarship covered rooms on this date.

Optional opportunities: Depending on interest and logistics, optional activities such as a visit to a Cryonics facility or other informal group outings may also be included.

Attire: Generally casual.
Age range: Intended for applicants ages 21 to 35, ideally meaning applicants would still be under age 36 as of September 6, 2026.
The goal of RLB is that attendees leave not just having attended an event, but having formed genuine connections with a group of peers who share a similar long-term outlook and background.
